Several museums, numerous shopping malls and craft shops and picturesque Victoria Park are only eight minutes away in the town of Truro; a twenty-minute drive along the nearby Trans Canada Highway can place the avid outdoor enthusiast in a kayak in the Bay of Fundy or clinging to a Zodiac on a Tidal Bore Rafting Park Tour of the Shubenacadie River.
