ENJOY BOAT RIDES AND OTHER WATER ACTIVITIES

Picturesque waters are only a twenty-minute drive along the nearby Trans Canada Highway. This short drive will place any outdoor enthusiast at the Bay of Fundy or the Shubenacadie River where they can enjoy canoe rides and kayaking.

While you’re out on nearby waters enjoying boats, canoes, and other watercraft, follow the nearby Glooscap Trail to Parrsboro and explore the shores of the Minas Basin. Here, avid adventurers will find semiprecious agates and amethysts in the sandstone cliffs. In addition, fossil hunting along the Minas Basin can offer a rich assortment of treasures including fossilized remains of ancient plants or sea creatures that previously inhabited the region.
