Planning a Nova Scotia honeymoon or romantic weekend getaway in Atlantic Canada? Our Eagle’s Nest Cottage sleeps a maximum of 2 adults. This cozy log chalet with a bedroom loft (queen bed) overlooking the living area below is complimented by its own private outdoor hot tub for two. Your BBQ is conveniently situated on your covered deck to allow you to BBQ any time of the year. The warm country decor, the glow from the wood fire, the sound of loons on the lake… will take you to another world.
We offer summer opportunities for Nova Scotia which include; canoeing and kayaking on Irwin Lake, wildlife observation and other Atlantic Canada outdoor activities as well as winter snowshoeing. All of our hot tub chalet week ends tend to book 4 to 5 months in advance however we do occasionally have week end cancellations. We generally have more availability through the week, Sunday through Wednesday.

Amenities:
Private outdoor hot tub for 2. Queen sized bed and full 4 piece bath. Wood stove with glass door. Wood is provided. Apartment sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans, silverware, bedding, towels, paper products, salt, pepper, sugar and hand soap are provided. Propane BBQ on covered deck. Propane provided.
Outdoor Activities:
Acres of forest to explore! Several km of trails and woods roads. Fishing in lake. Swimming in lake. Canoes, row boat and pedal boat available to rent. Berry picking and bird watching. In the winter bring your snowshoes and or cross country skis. After fun in the cold, cozy up to the wood stove with a glass of your favorite when you return to your chalet.
Restrictions:
No Smoking. We do not have television reception or phones. All chalets have a TV with DVD player and we offer an array of movies to chose from. Minimum 2 night stay on week ends.This is life at Mother Nature’s pace. Rate is based on double occupancy as this chalet sleeps a maximum of 2 adults.
