When you bring your pet along to enjoy all the amenities that our lakeside propertie has to offer, we kindly ask that you adhere to a few simple rules during your visit. The last thing we want is for our guests’ pet to run into danger (porcupines) cause a disturbance or be problematic for other guests enjoying their stay. This way, we can continue to operate as a pet-friendly retreat.

Please notify us during booking and check-in if your pet (two pets per chalet) will be travelling with you. We will add a fee of $20.00 plus harmonized sales tax (HST) per pet, per night, to your account. During your stay, we ask that you keep your pet off all furniture and beds and please bring pet towels and bedding from home. All chalets are provided with sofa covers as well.

At our pet-friendly retreat, guests must keep their pets on a leash at all times. They should not be left alone in your chalet, nor should they be wandering around the property to neighbouring chalets. We do have porcupines in the area. Some of our guests’ furry friends have found this out the hard way. We wouldn’t want any of our guests to report that their pets wandered off into harms’ way. As a result, we ask that our guests keep a watchful eye on their pooches and pups.

Unfortunately, not everyone loves pets. Some individuals have a fear of certain pets, while others have irritating allergies. Though we are a pet-friendly cabin, we also ask that our guests kindly respect others enjoying their stay at our retreat as well. To ensure all parties staying in our chalets can enjoy their time, please keep your pet from barking or making noise incessantly.

Help Us Keep Our Pet-Friendly Retreat Clean and Inviting

We ask that each of our guests does their part to keep our rental spaces beautiful, clean, and inviting, not only for their party but future parties as well. We ask that you kindly clean up after your pets and drop off their deposits in the blue bin located on the office deck. Moreover, all pets enjoying their stay with us must be up-to-date with all necessary shots, flea, and tick treatments.

Thank you so much for helping us keep our chalets a pet-friendly retreat. If it is obvious that our pet policy’ rules aren’t respected, and it results in additional cleaning, sanitizing or replacing, repairing of furniture, your credit card will be charged for all incurred expense and damages.
