Cozy 2 bedroom (pet friendly) bungalow lakefront accommodation in Nova Scotia offers a wood stove, BBQ and the luxury of your own private outdoor hot tub. This chalet will accommodate a maximum of 4 people. Your BBQ is conveniently situated on your covered deck to allow you to BBQ any time of the year. The warm country decor, the glow from the wood fire, the sound of loons on the lake… will take you to another world. We offer summer opportunities for Nova Scotia swimming, paddling, canoeing and kayaking on our private lake. You can also enjoy wildlife observation, bird watching and other Atlantic Canada outdoor activities as well as winter snowshoeing.
This chalet offers the perfect setting for a cottage vacation in Atlantic Canada, whether it’s a Nova Scotia getaway weekend or quiet retreat to simply relax amidst nature – Irwin Lake has it all. All of our hot tub chalet week ends tend to book 4 to 5 months in advance however we do occasionally have week end cancellations. We generally have more availability through the week, Sunday through Wednesday.

Amenities: Private outdoor hot tub for 2 or 4 people. Two queen sized beds and full 4 piece bath. Wood stove with glass door. Wood is provided. Full sized refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans, silverware, bedding, towels, paper products, sugar, salt, pepper and hand soap are provided. Propane BBQ on covered deck. Propane provided.
Outdoor Activities: View the stars and listen to the call of the loons while soaking in your own private outdoor hot tub. Acres of forest to explore! Several kms of trails and woods roads. Fishing in lake. Swimming in lake. Canoes, row boat and pedal boat available to rent. Berry picking, bird watching. In the winter, don’t forget your cross country skis and/or snowshoes. After fun in the cold, cozy up to a wood stove in your chalet with a glass of your favorite.
Restrictions: No Smoking. No television reception, Internet or phones. TV and DVD player provided with over 500 movies to chose from. Minimum 2 night stay on weekends.
